Return & Exchange Policy

This policy outlines how you can seek a return or exchange for a product purchased through the IndNursery platform. Because we deal in both perishable goods (plants) and hard goods (gardening supplies), our return rules vary by category.

Exemptions: Live Plants & Seeds
You agree that there is a certain category of items exempted from physical returns. We do not accept returns for Live Plants, Bulbs, or Seeds. The return transit process causes extreme stress and usually results in the death of the plant.

If a plant arrives dead or heavily damaged, please refer to our Refund Policy to claim a replacement or refund without needing to return the dead plant.

1. Returns for Non-Plant Items (Pots, Tools, Fertilizers)

For non-perishable gardening supplies, we offer returns or exchanges within the first 2 days from the date of delivery. If 2 days have passed since your item was delivered, you will not be offered a return, exchange, or refund of any kind.

In order to become eligible for a return or an exchange:

  • The purchased item must be unused and in the exact same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in its original, sealed packaging. (e.g., open fertilizer packets cannot be returned).
  • If the item was purchased during a clearance or flash sale, it may not be eligible for a return/exchange.

2. Damaged or Defective Goods

We only replace items (based on an exchange request) if they are found to be defective or damaged upon arrival (e.g., a ceramic pot arrives shattered). If you need to exchange a damaged item for the exact same product, please contact our support team immediately with photographic evidence.

3. Return Inspection Process

For accepted return requests, we will arrange a reverse pickup or provide you with a shipping address. Once your returned product is received and inspected by our warehouse team, we will send you an email or WhatsApp message to notify you of the receipt.

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If the item has been approved after the quality check at our end, your request (refund or exchange) will be processed in accordance with our policies.

4. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to a defect or an error on our part (e.g., we shipped the wrong tool), IndNursery will cover the return shipping costs.
  • If the return is due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.
